Monthly "Mindfulness Refresh" Meeting Starts December!


We are nearly finished with my first in-person Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) group in more than 2 years, and what a refreshing time it has been personally to pickle in the MBCT materials, as well as to see it through the eyes of group members as they generously shared in our weekly meetings. Numerous folks have asked for follow-up meetings or for help to maintain good habits we learned in group. I think this is a fine idea and I'm more than happy to facilitate, since these groups help me to maintain my helpful mindfulness habits too!


So, I have a special announcement for prior "graduates" from both my classic MBCT and my MBCT for OCD groups (as well as my soon-to-be-graduated group members!):

I will be hosting a free monthly "Mindfulness Refresh" group, exclusively for group graduates to come together and refresh MBCT skills. In these refreshers, we will meet for about one hour for a brief mindful movement exercise, a brief sitting meditation, a brief group discussion, and some refreshments (to consume mindfully, of course).


For any graduates who prefer to attend online, I will have a link available for each meeting that will allow you to log in via my secure telehealth portal, however, you are also welcome to join in-person at my office. Groups through 2022 are scheduled as follows, generally occurring on the first Monday of each month at 11am:

  • December 6, 2021 at 11am

  • January 3, 2022 at 11am

  • February 7, 2022 at 11am

  • March 7, 2022 at 11am

  • April 4, 2022 at 11am

  • May 2, 2022 at 11am

  • June 6, 2022 at 11am

  • July 11, 2022 at 11am (bumped one week due to Independence Day)

  • August 1, 2022 at 11am

  • September 12, 2022 at 11am (bumped one week due to Labor Day)

  • October 3, 2022 at 11am

  • November 7, 2022 at 11am

  • December 5, 2022 at 11am
